JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the SVP, Talent & Diversity, the VP Talent Management leads and oversees Baylor Scott & White's talent management initiatives. Possesses a deep understanding of talent planning and development, performance management, and organizational culture. They will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive talent strategies to help attract, develop and retain top talent and leadership at all levels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with the organization's short-term and long-term business goals, ensuring a consistent pipeline of top-tier talent and leadership bench strength
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive talent and leadership development and succession planning programs, ensuring the continuous growth and readiness of internal talent for key leadership roles and critical positions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance management to drive employee engagement, productivity, and professional development
- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent programs and initiatives, making data-backed recommendations to drive optimization
- Implement and oversee employee retention strategies, including employee engagement initiatives and career development opportunities, to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management, incorporating innovative and effective strategies to maintain the organization's competitive edge in talent
- Lead and mentor a team of talent professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative work culture

- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent management strategies and programs within a dynamic and fast-paced organizational environment
- In-depth knowledge of talent management best practices, industry trends, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed talent management decisions
- Proficiency in project management, process optimization, and change management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

- Bachelor's Degree
